Brief Profile
Dr. Sujit Kumar Bala is a retired Professor of the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM) at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). With a distinguished academic and professional career spanning academia, international research, and engineering consultancy, he has made significant contributions to water resources engineering, irrigation engineering, and flood management.
Dr. Bala earned his Ph.D. in Irrigation Engineering from the Tashkent Engineering Institute of Land Reclamation and Irrigation, Uzbekistan (formerly USSR), where he also completed his M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering with honors.
