Dr. Sujit Kumar Bala is a retired Professor of the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He served BUET for over two decades in progressive academic roles, from Lecturer to Professor, and has extensive professional experience in water resources engineering both in Bangladesh and internationally. He earned his PhD and MSc in Water Resources Engineering from Tashkent Engineering Institute of Land Reclamation and Irrigation (ex-USSR).
