A. S. M. Woobaidullah, PhD is a distinguished geophysicist and Professor of Geology with over 40 years of academic and research experience. He has served the University of Dhaka in various senior academic roles, including Professor, Chairman of the Department of Geology, Selection Grade Professor, Supernumerary Professor, and currently as an Honorary Professor. He completed his PhD from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (former USSR) and undertook postdoctoral research in Geophysics at the University of Vienna, Austria.
