Entry requirements
For admission into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, applicants must meet all requirements for graduate admission to the School of Graduate Studies.
After submitting the application and required documents, applicants may be invited to a short online interview with the admissions team. During the interview, students may discuss their academic background, motivation for studying business, and future career goals.
This interview helps confirm the applicant’s readiness for the MBA program and allows the admissions team to guide students through the next steps of enrollment.
Applicants whose prior education was not completed in English may be required to demonstrate English language proficiency. Accepted tests include:
- IELTS: minimum overall score of 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 80
- Cambridge English: B2 First or an equivalent qualification
- PTE Academic: minimum score of 42
- MOI accepted
Alternatively, proof of English proficiency may be waived or considered through other supporting evidence, such as previous studies completed in English or coming from an English-medium educational background. Additionally, applicants can take our English language proficiency test, through which they may also be eligible for admission.
All English language requirements are assessed in accordance with the University of West Alabama’s admission policies.
